Masaba Gupta, an Indo-Caribbean fashion designer, founded House of Masaba after graduating from SNDT Women’s University in 2009. Since her promising debut at the Lakme Fashion Week at the age of 19, the 31-year-old designer has been recognised for redefining the face of the fashion business, making her an icon for fashion aspirants of this generation. About her New Beauty Collection

Masaba Gupta has secured a partnership with Nykaa to develop her own matte lipstick collection, “Own it like Masaba.”

Masaba has already launched her own prints and patterns, but this is her first beauty collection partnership with the eCommerce giant Nykaa. The collection includes 12 high-spirited and ultra-flattering lipstick hues that were particularly designed with Indian skin tones in mind. Three pigment-rich, cult-worthy hues commemorate the actual spirit of friendship in this collection. In truth, pastry chef Pooja Dhingra and film producer Rhea Kapoor are two of Masaba’s closest female friends, and the designs are dedicated to them.

The Matte lipstick line comes in three shades: Make it Happen, You Grow Girl, and Believe in You, all of which cost 799 rupees. The lipsticks are said to be lightweight, pleasant, and provide a high pigment one-stroke application. The Nudes in the collection start at 599 Rs and go up from there. The prices have been reduced to Rs 359 as part of Nykaa’s ongoing sale, which includes a 40% launch discount. At her presentation, Masaba, a 31-year-old fashion icon, said the nudes in her collection promise to convert one’s everyday dull looks into “something more than charismatic.”
